In a previous news item on Glentoran.com, we announced that we had agreed a contract with Umbro to supply our Kits, training and leisurewear from July 2018.
Our merchandising team has been working hard since February with Chris Morgan (Club Sport NI and Umbro’s representative in Northern Ireland) to ensure that Glentoran FC has the highest quality of kit, training gear and leisurewear for the forthcoming season.
With new kit suppliers and specifically in the first year of contract, minor postponements can often be expected. Timescales and delivery with “bespoke” kits etc are longer than with Umbro teamwear (off the shelf) items.
It’s vital that the club ensures that both players and supporters will be proud to wear iconic kits worthy of Glentoran FC and for this reason there will be a slight delay in launching the 2018/19 Home Kit. This will be available for the start of the new season in early August.
In the meantime, Information, photographs and a promotional video re the imminent Away Kit, Training and Leisurewear launch will be released Wednesday 27th June 2018 on www.glentoran.com, and the Glentoran Official and Glentoran Superstore Facebook pages.
