Warmest congratulations to Bobby Burns on making his 100th appearance for Glentoran in Friday night's game v Larne, and for scoring a spectacular goal to mark the occasion.
It is a testament both to Bobby's consistency and his powers of recovery that he made 93 of those appearances over the course of the past two seasons, having missed all but the three opening games of his first loan season at the club due to a badly broken leg. Having scored 10 goals from midfield last season, and establishing himself as a fixture in the starting midfield, Bobby was a popular winner of the supporters' vote for the 2022-2023 Glentoran Player of the Year award. Of course, scoring four goals over the course of a couple of 3-0 Big Two wins didn't do his chances any harm!
