It was a very different Glentoran Christmas Appeal this year, but the good work and generosity of the Glentoran Family was never more necessary as the club staged the appeal for the seventh year.
Glentoran Football Club is delighted to announce that Hrvoje Plum has signed a contract extension that will keep him at the club until the end of the 2021-2022 season.
Head Coach Mick McDermott said today: “Hrvoje is a major asset to Glentoran and its great to have him commit to the club.
He earned the respect of our supporters last season and after recovering from his injury he is working hard to get back to that level again.
Hrvoje is a top professional and we’re very happy to have him back in the matchday squad.”
We were delighted to be contacted by one of our Club Sponsors Pizza Co regarding a donation to our Christmas Appeal.
The Ballyhackamore Branch will be making pizzas for 25 families within East Belfast to be delivered on Christmas Eve. A special treat for the children before heading to bed to wait on Father Christmas. We were overwhelmed by their generous offer, but it didn't stop there. Our dear friends at Stella Maris Shelter will also be having a very special Christmas Eve with a Movie and Pizza night.

Earlier this year, the Internet Glentoran Supporters Club lost their dearly loved friend and member Kevin Milhench. Kevin was also a long-standing Director at Glentoran FC and every year he took great delight when along with his wife Lizzie, they produced a Luxury Hamper to be raffled to raise funds for various charities.

Glentoran missed the chance to move into the top 6 in the Danske Bank Premiership following a draw at the Ballymena Showgrounds this afternoon. Dale Gorman and Gael Bigirimana dropped to the bench for this game with Hrvoje Plum and Joe Crowe coming into the starting XI.
