Glens attend SportNI Seminar

The playing and coaching staff were delighted to attend a recent mentoring session on Mental Health & Wellbeing with former Armagh Gaelic Football star Oisin McConville at in the Oval Performance Suite. The session was arranged through SportNI and focused on the struggles professional athletes can find themselves in at the height of their careers.

Fixture Update

Glentoran have been drawn away to Larne in the first round of the Toal's County Antrim Shield. The game will be played at Inver Park on Tuesday 21st September. Kick off 7.45pm.

Out home Danske Bank Premiership match v Linfield, scheduled for Tuesday 31st August has been postponed due to Under 21 international call-ups. We will make an announcement as soon as a new date is agreed. All tickets sold for the original date will be valid for the rearranged match.

Glentoran Women 2-0 Olimpia Cluj

Second half screamers from Joely Andrews and Chloe McCarron gave an unchanged team an outstanding win over Romanian champions Olimpia Cluj in their Champions League group third and fourth place playoff in Finland this afternoon.

Glentoran dominated the first half but couldn't find a breakthrough. Kerry Beattie and Casey Howe linked up well inside 10 minutes, with the latter spinning away from her marker on the edge of the area before firing over the crossbar.

Wee Glens win Steel Cup Opener

Glentoran 2nds travelled to Ards Rangers for the second round of the Steel & Sons Cup today, and their first competitive match since before the lockdown in March 2020.

The young squad had been training hard during pre-season, under the coaching of their Manager Norman Kelly, and were buzzing to get playing again. The boys were boosted by Willie Garrett's experience as just skipper Corai Quinn, Aaron Wightman and Seamus Duffy were there when the Seconds played their last competitive game in March 2020.

Ticket Sale News: Glentoran v Linfield

We are pleased to announce that tickets for our home Danske Bank Premiership fixture against Linfield will be available for purchase online from 9.30pm today (Thursday) at  glentoran.com/tickets

Ticket sales are online. A very small number of tickets will be made available for purchase at the Glentoran Superstore. These will be largely concession tickets to facilitate some of our older supporters who may not have internet access.

Important Supporter Update: Big Two match 31st August

Match tickets for the first “Big Two” match of the season will go on sale online shortly. The ticket only match will be at the Oval on Tuesday 31st August (kick off 7.45pm).

The Oval will not be at full capacity for the match. However our Security Manager has been working very closely with the relevant authorities to enable us to maximise allowable attendance levels at this game. To do so we need supporters to adhere to the following essential requirements:
