Ticket Sale News: Glentoran v Linfield

Thu, 19/08/2021 - 21:00

We are pleased to announce that tickets for our home Danske Bank Premiership fixture against Linfield will be available for purchase online from 9.30pm today (Thursday) at  glentoran.com/tickets

Ticket sales are online. A very small number of tickets will be made available for purchase at the Glentoran Superstore. These will be largely concession tickets to facilitate some of our older supporters who may not have internet access.

  • Ticket prices: Adult £12 and Concession £8.
  • All season tickets will be valid for this match. Entry will be secured on display of season ticket at the appropriate turnstile.
  • Tickets will be for the Main Stand and Sydenham End Terrace. Linfield supporters will be allocated the Railway Stand and City End Terrace.

As this is an all-ticket match, the £1 admission for a child does not apply and a ticket will be required. We would also request that wheelchair users and their carer email the club secretary (secretary@glentoran.com) to confirm match day arrangements.

A number of supporters are entitled to free access to this game due to having a ticket for the postponed home “Big Two” match from the end of the 2019-2020 season. They should contact secretary@glentoran.com to arrange a time for collection of their ticket.

A reminder of the necessary requirements from supporters to enable the smooth management of the larger attendance at this match:

  • Proof of having received 2 Covid-19 Vaccinations or proof of a negative lateral flow or PCR covid test within the previous 48 hours. To secure a test kit go to go to https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/testing/regular-rapid-coronavirus-tests-if-you-do-not-have-symptoms//
  • The proof of the two vaccinations can be either a Vaccination certificate, or the card provided at the time of vaccination.
  • Facemasks must be worn at all times on stairwells and in queues and worn until the spectator is seated or has reached their viewing location on the terrace.
  • Social distancing of one metre must be observed at all times when moving around in all areas of the stadium.
  • Regular hand sanitisation.

We have established the following email address for Glentoran supporters who are unsure of any of the issues involved, have other questions re: restrictions or are hesitant to attend due to covid-19. Just contact covidassist@glentoran.com and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

We regret the need for these additional measures, but we know supporters will understand them to be necessary as we make attempts to move back to normality in football. Should the Northern Ireland Executive further relax its position on outdoor events we will ensure that is reflected in the club’s approach.
