Glentoran moved decisively into their second cup final in a fortnight with this decisive win at Ashfield tonight, in the semi final of the Toal's Women's Cup.
Goals from Danielle Maxwell (2), Cora Morgan (2), Joely Andrews and Ali McMaster saw the Glens home.

Glentoran supporters travelling by private car to Cliftonville Football Club for the match with a 3pm kick-off on Saturday 4 th September 2021 are requested to park in the residential areas above Solitude off the Cliftonville Road- ie Cardigan Drive and Knutsford Drive etc.
Glentoran, having found results difficult to come by at Solitude for several years, managed a much better effort last season. Although we lost last season’s league opener to Ryan Curran’s late goal, the following 2 games both ended in away wins - Dale Gorman’s late goal securing victory in November’s County Antrim Shield Semi Final and second half Rory Donnelly and Ciaran O’Connor strikes ensuring a vital 2-0 league win back in April.
Glentoran remain top of the Danske Bank Women’s Premiership after taking securing a two-goal victory at Crusaders Strikers on Wednesday evening.
The Glens made it six league wins in a row thanks to second half goals from Kerry Beattie and Joely Andrews, to keep them ahead of Cliftonville on goal difference with three rounds of matches remaining.

Glentoran Seconds made a great start to their league season at the Oval today, with a convincing win over the Swifts.
Following last week’s success in the Steel & Sons Cup, the Wee Glens were bursting to go again and get their league campaign off to a winning start. To play at the Oval, with the sun shining, just added to the occasion and the excitement.
Our women went into Friday’s semi-final against Cliftonville Ladies determined to secure yet another place in the final of the Electric Ireland Challenge Cup, a competition we have dominated in recent seasons with consecutive showpiece victories over Linfield Ladies. Spurred on by great support, they did not disappoint.
