The club has arranged the following pre season friendlies at the Oval.
The intention of the club is to work in the interests of public health and in accordance with Belfast City Council guidelines. Therefore, for the first match to which spectators will be permitted entrance (v Ards on Tuesday 15 September), only season ticket holders will be able to attend the game. It is the club’s hope that over time, it will be possible to gradually increase attendances ahead of the start of the season in October.
- Saturday 12/09/20 – Bangor, 2.00pm - no supporters permitted
- Tuesday 15/09/20 – Ards, 7.00pm – only those who have purchased season tickets for 2020/2021 season will be able to attend this one. Admission for all attendees will be £5.00 and further information will be provided over the next few days.
- Saturday 19/09/20 – H&W Welders, 2.00pm - same situation as Ards match.
- Saturday 26/09/20 – opposition to be confirmed
- Tuesday 29/09/20 - Queens University, 7.00pm (supporter numbers to be confirmed at a later date)
- Saturday 3/10/20 – Dundela, 2.00pm (supporter numbers to be confirmed at a later date)
The club will be introducing strong social distancing measures at the Ards and Welders games. Strict co operation of supporters in adhering to these measures is essential, as any breaches will have a detrimental affect on attendance numbers at future matches and could lead to competitive fixtures at the Oval being played behind closed doors. No flexibility can or will be shown in implementation of these essential measures.
