Happy 89th birthday today (17th June) to lifelong Glenman Jim Hanna.
Jim has been active in the running of the Hillfoot Glentoran Supporters Club for over 50 years - and still is. Jimmy still religiously follows the Glens home and away, and as a Glentoran Vice President can be seen in his scarf in the Directors' Box at every home match.
As a boy in 1941, Jim visited The Oval on the morning after the German raid that blew a crater in the pitch. He has been present at all the major post-War events (including 4/4/64 and Morgan Day) and followed the Glens across the Continent in our European adventures.
Happy Birthday Jim, from the Chairman, Directors, President, Vice Presidents, Head Coach, Players and everyone in the Glentoran Family.
