The club is delighted to confirm that Jay Donnelly today signed an extension to his contract and will now remain with Glentoran until at least June 2025.
Jay has had a phenomenal season and is league top scorer in the Danske Bank Premiership with 23 goals in just 29 appearances. He also won the supporters’ vote as Glentoran Player of the Month for a remarkable four months from September to December.
Jay said today of his extension: “I am delighted to sign a new contract extension with Glentoran. I can’t thank them enough for what they have done for me and for my family, I feel at home here and I’m loving every minute of it.
I’m very glad to recommit my future with this great club and hopefully I can keep up my form and bring some trophies back to the Bet McLean Oval, the fans have been amazing, and I’d love to pay them back with trophies..
