Following on from yesterday’s news about Mal Smith, the club is now also delighted to announce that Gael Bigirimana has agreed to remain with Glentoran for at least another season.
The experienced Bigi (27) joined Glentoran last summer, making a winning debut in our Europa League tie with HB Torshavn at the Oval. He made 38 first team appearances in his first season (plus several senior international appearances for his native Burundi) and has quickly established himself as a key man in Mick McDermott’s plans
Bigi said to www.glentoran.com on signing his contract: " First of all would like to give thanks to my God and my saviour for His Grace to me and my family. And blessing me with this opportunity to be at Glentoran for another season. I am excited and looking forward to what lays ahead for me at this club.
