With the conclusion of the 2023-2024 season, John Gregg has left his position as first team coach with immediate effect. He had been with the club since January last year.
Glentoran Football Club would like to thank John for his work in his role with the first team and also in his role managing Glentoran Seconds this past season.
Declan Devine will be announcing the first changes to the playing and coaching personnel over the next few days. He said of John: “Now the season is over we need to immediately move ahead with essential rebuilding in all aspects of the playing and coaching side. I have appreciated John’s support over the past few weeks but explained that we need to take a different direction and I will be announcing new appointments in the near future.”
John Gregg: “I’ve really enjoyed my time at Glentoran, working with many great people at all levels in the club. I wish Glentoran all the best for next season.”
