Everyone at Glentoran wishes Annie Timoney all the very best for her move to Celtic. Annie has signed a full-time contract in Glasgow and will now be in direct opposition to her former Glentoran team mates Demi Vance (Rangers) and Kerry Beattie (Glasgow City).
Right back and Northern Ireland international Annie has won everything at least twice during her five years with Glentoran and was a virtual ever present and a major star in the past two seasons as the Glens completed their two consecutive clean sheets. She was also a star of our 2021 Champions League campaign.
Annie told www.glentoran.com today that “This is a fantastic opportunity for me to join such a massive club as Celtic and I’m really looking forward to getting started. But It’s sad to be leaving all my friends at Glentoran. I love this club. It will always be in my heart.”
