The IFA have announced the dates for the Danske Bank Premiership post split fixtures. Glentoran's fixtures for the rest of the season may be viewed HERE.
Following one of their best performances of the season last Saturday and the defeat of Linfield at Seaview last night, Glentoran had a great opportunity to close the gap on third place to just 2 points with a win against Dungannon Swifts at the Oval tonight.
The conditions weren't exactly ideal at The Oval for today's important Danske Bank Premiership game between Glentoran and Ballinamallard Utd. It rained constantly throughout the game with it turning to snow at various points. The result led inevitably to a reasonably scrappy affair, however Glentoran coped with the conditions the better and still managed to produce some excellent football.
The Glentoran Academy are running an Easter Basket Ballot for the basket above. All ticket will cost £1 and can be bought at today's match in the Milk Bar. It's only £1 everyone so please get involved!
Also the Academy have introduced a 'Last Man Standing' game as shown in the above form. The rules are simple and all explained above. It costs £5 per ticket and once again they are available to purchase today at the Milk Bar.
Monday night's Halfers draw prize, a rollover from the Glenavon game, is still unclaimed. The winning ticket number is 110 and the ticket holder can collect £290.
If this prize is not claimed by 3pm on Saturday then the draw for the Ballinamallard game will be a DOUBLE ROLLOVER.
Glentoran's Danske Bank Premiership win streak may have ended last Saturday against Ballymena Utd but the unbeaten run stretching back to mid-January continues. Last week's 0-0 draw at Ballymena Showgrounds was a frustration for The Glens with a failure to produce chances in the first half, and a failure to convert chances in the second half. Overall though the result hasn't proven too damaging with Linfield ahead in 3rd slipping up as well as Coleraine losing to Crusaders behind.
MASSIVE SALE continues with 25% off away shirts and shorts and 50% off all Kukri leisure range.

All customers spending over £30 or purchasing an adult AWAY top up to the end of March will be entered into a draw where one supporter will be given the opportunity to travel with the team to one of the away matches (possibly Ballinamallard) after 1st April.
We welcome Ballinamallard United to East Belfast for the 2nd time this season and a similar result to the first game would be very nice!
