Due to January's poor weather, Glentoran have had limited games in the last few weeks. Games against Dungannon and Glenavon have been called off however this may not have been the worst thing for Eddie Patterson's side. With no fewer than 9 injuries in our last game against Ballymena Utd at The Oval, it was clear that the squad were struggling to deal with a difficult period.
The Glentoran Superstore will be open this Saturday morning (2nd Feb) from 10am until 12:30pm

Glentoran Football Club and Enjoy Card Northern Ireland announce a commercial partnership to market a new discount card scheme for our supporters clubs and fans. This is an innovative scheme for raising funds for the club, supporting our community and contributing to local charity, Cancer Focus.
Two members of the very successful Glentoran Seconds team, Willie Garrett and Stephen Gordon, have gone on loan to Lisburn Distillery for the remainder of the season. Willie Garrett has also agreed a 1-year contract extension with Glentoran.
Manager, Eddie Patterson hopes both players will get extended game time with the Whites in the Danske Bank Premiership which will give both players invaluable experience and aid their development.
The Board is delighted to announce the appointment of Conor Marlin as Director, The Glentoran Academy with immediate effect.
Football in Northern Ireland has lost one of its greatest personalities; Dr Malcolm Brodie, MBE. He was 86. As tributes pour in from around the football world everyone connected with the game in this country is saddened by Malcolm’s passing.

The bus to Portadown this Saturday, 2nd February, will leave the Park Avenue at 1.30pm. Members and visitors welcome.
The bus to St Patrick's Athletic on Monday 11th February will leave the Park Avenue at 3.30pm and will stop at Red Cow for refreshments. Bus fare £15. Members and visitors welcome.
