It's time to get back in the swing of things for the new season and what better way than to start with watching the Glentoran Legends v Glentoran Fans on Friday evening! Then we welcome Kilmarknock to East Belfast for our goalkeeping legend, Elliott Morris's Testimonial game on Saturday.

On Friday evening the Premier Lounge will be open from 6pm and all fans are welcome for a drink before, during and after the match. The Legends will be making an appearance in the lounge after the game too.

Thank You

Wed, 17/07/2013 - 13:55

The Board of Directors would like to say a big thank you to all the volunteers who worked so hard at the Oval over the past number of weeks; painting, cleaning, weeding etc.

Originally a couple of work days had been planned but this extended into several evenings too. A small, but very willing, group of supporters carried out a wide range of tasks to ensure the ground was in decent shape for our opening fixture against KR last week.

Thanks to all who gave of their time to help out. It is greatly appreciated.

Academy Thanks to Eddie Patterson

Mon, 15/07/2013 - 21:16

The Glentoran Academy would like to pass on their thanks to Eddie Patterson and his staff for a great gesture ahead of Thursday nights Europa League game. Nathan Best from our under 14 team recently suffered a cruciate ligament injury that requires an operation and will sideline the dynamic winger for several months. On hearing of Nathan's plight, Eddie invited him into the changing rooms ahead of the game against KR to meet the players and listen in on the team talk.
