Glentoran FC were disappointed to learn today that the club have been fined £1000 for fan behaviour at Irish Cup semi-final.

The fines relate to two incidents with each incurring a penalty of £500.

1. Inside the first 20 minutes of the game a small beer bottle was thrown into the Crusaders penalty area. This landed close to the referee and a Crusaders player.

2. Following the final whistle a large number of Glentoran supporters entered the field of play by climbing over the wall behind the goals at the Hospital End.

Due to increased costs at point of manufacture, we have been faced with the choice of either withdrawing the opportunity for supporters to purchase the ICF 2015 replica shirt or to go ahead and offer supporters the chance to purchase the shirts at a slightly higher price but with minimal benefit for Glentoran Football Club.  We have decided to go with the latter.

The prices and how to pre order the Irish Cup 2015 Replica Shirts via theGlentoran Superstore are as follows:

Glentoran 1-0 Crusaders

Sun, 22/03/2015 - 16:06

At a bouncing Mourneview Park Glentoran reached their second Irish Cup Final in three years as they overcame the odds to defeat league leaders Crusaders. With most bookies putting the Glens at around 4/1 to win the game and the Crues having won all three meetings between the sides this year it was fair to say that upon arrival in Lurgan, the wee cock n hens were massive underdogs. To add, George Gray, Steven Gordon, Jordan Stewart and Willie Garrett were all bed-ridden with the flu this week - however the latter three managed to make the journey after late decisions.
