A strong Glentoran Seconds team moved third in the league table with this comprehensive win over a strong Cliftonville line up at Solitude this evening.
The Glens were boosted by a number of first team squad members playing their way back to match fitness, with a particularly pleasing inclusion of Sean Murray for his first start at any level since 2nd January. They were also boosted by the return of Leon Boyd and Rhys Walsh from international duty with Northern Ireland U19s and with the return of 18-year-old Jonny Russell who has been doing so well with the senior squad.

The Glens are joint top of the Sports Direct Premiership after hitting four goals at the Newry Showgrounds this evening. Injuries to Rhys Marshall, Aidan Wilson and Jay Donnelly meant manager Warren Feeney had to make several changes ahead of this evening's 5.30pm kick-off in South Down. Club captain Marcus Kane returned to his normal left-back slot with Bobby Burns returning in midfield and scorer of last Saturday's winner against Cliftonville, Niall McGinn, returned to the starting XI.
Title chasing Glentoran started as they meant to go on tonight at Ashfield with a first minute strike from Joely Andrews putting them ahead virtually from kick off. There was to be no let up as the league leaders rattled another 10 against unfortunate Ballymena this evening in the Sports Direct.
