If you switch off against any team in this league you run the risk of it costing you dearly. Tonight at Mourneview Park in the Danske Bank Premiership, Glentoran seemed in control of the game with around 20 minutes remaining but then conceded two set pieces in two minutes and both led to goals for the home side!
Tuesday 16th March 2021, Kick Off 7.45pm
Tomorrow night we travel to Lurgan play Glenavon for the first of two meetings in five days in the Danske Bank Premiership. This one is a rearranged match from 23rd January.
Two second half strikes from Robbie McDaid secured 3 points for Glentoran at Milltown this afternoon in the Danske Bank Premiership.
Manager, Mick McDermott began this one with Rhys Marshall, Luke McCullough, Paddy McClean and skipper, Marcus Kane in front of Dayle Coleing with Gael Bigirimana, Ciaran O'Connor and Hrvoje Plum in midfield. In attack it was Jay Donnelly, Conor McMenamin and Robbie McDaid.
Saturday 13th March 2021, Kick Off 3,00pm.
Tomorrow we make our first visit to Milltown since November 2019, to complete the fixture postponed in February.
In the one fixture between the sides at Milltown last season, the Glens were easy 4-0 winners after running riot in the first half. In the 8th minute, defender Gavin Peers, now of course Warrenpoint player/coach, put us ahead before a Hrvoje Plum double (one a penalty) and Robbie McDaid's goal in the 44th minute completed the scoring. Although both Plum and McDaid will be in this weekend’s squad

Glentoran's run of victories in the Danske Bank Premiership was ended by Ballymena United at the Oval this evening.
In difficult conditions, the Glens conceded a goal in each half, both from corners but even with a wind advantage in the second half, rarely tested Jordan Williamson in the visitors' goal.
Tuesday 9th March 2021, Kick Off 7.45
Tonight we play our rearranged Danske Bank Premiership match with Ballymena United, exactly one month after the original fixture was called off due to a late freezing of the Oval pitch.
Ballymena were beaten 3-1 and 2-0 on their visits last season. They do, however, boast a respectable record at the Oval over the last decade or so and had recorded 4 wins and a draw from 6 prior to the 19/20 season.
Glentoran tonight scored a sixth consecutive league victory for the first time since March 2008, and leapfrogged Crusaders, Larne and Cliftonville to go third in the Danske Bank Premiership (for a few hours at least) with this clinical demolition of a Carrick Rangers side that has enjoyed some excellent results in previous months.
Friday 5th March 2021
Kick Off 7.30pm
Tonight we make our first visit to the Loughshore Hotel Arena since December 2019, to face Carrick for the third time this season.
We are very pleased to announce that in a month that included four successive wins and a number of outstanding individual performances Luke McCullough has won the supporters’ vote as February Glentoran Player of the Month.
Luke, whose standards since joining in the club have been as high as his consistently outstanding performances, won an outstanding 48% of the supporter vote with new signing Conor McMenamin runner up and Cricky Gallagher (winner in December and January) again figuring, this time in third place.
