Glentoran Under-16s enjoyed an excellent day at the NIFL and League of Ireland Cross-Border Academy Development Day at Ulster University Jordanstown.
The young Glens faced three League of Ireland academies during a demanding schedule, beginning with a 1-0 victory over Dundalk.
They followed that with a 3-2 win against Galway United before completing the day with a 2-0 victory over Waterford.
With three games played in a short space of time, the final fixture provided a real test for the players. Despite beginning to feel the effects of a long day, they produced another strong performance to finish with three wins from three.
The Cross-Border Academy Development Days are a joint initiative between the Northern Ireland Football League and the League of Ireland.
They give young players from leading academies across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland the opportunity to face different opposition in a high-quality development environment.
