We're back at the Oval tomorrow and that means it's the return of the Glentoran Gazette ... and in the opinion of the editor it's the best one since he took over. If you grew up watching the Glens in the 90s, then two cult figures feature in this edition that will have you digging out your parka and strutting Liam Gallagher-esque down Mersey Street. In our regular 'Playing For Keeps' series, Philip Stevenson talks to Dutch maestro Guido Van de Kamp who, despite spending little more than a month at the Oval, is regarded as one of the best to ever pull on the Number One jersey. Then, we are in the company of a legend as Matthew Brown catches up with the one and only Glen Little who fawns, misty-eyed over his time at the Glens. The interview is four pages long and sure to bring a sense of pride to any Glenman.
We'll also have the usual stats and news and you could feature, yourself, in 'Hitting the Net', or 'Home and Away' where you provided the pictures from your day out watching the Glens. Get yours from our merry band of sellers, or see http://www.glentoran.com/gazette-online-sales for details on how to subscribe
Also, keep sending your pictures from your match days - in the pub, on your way to the ground, at the ground, in the Milk Bar, in the bar... anywhere. And, though it took a break this week to accommodate the Glen Little feature, keep sending in your Glens Top Tens - players, matches, European games, cup finals ... any subject and with a little bit about why it's in your top ten.
