Glentoran Stadium Safety Officer, Roger Clarke, has asked www.glentoran.com to convey his personal thanks to those Glentoran supporters who attended last night's home match with Portadown, for their impeccable behaviour and cooperation with stewards throughout the evening. This was our first match with supporters present and Roger and the club isdelighted with the positive response to requests for adherence to covid regulations.
The Chairman and Directors would like to thank Roger for his leadership to date through what has been a most challenging period for both football and society in general. Roger's contribution from return to training, the Sadler's Peaky Blinder Irish Cup ties, the home Europa League tie with Torshavn and now the limited return of fans has been pivotal to the completion of each of these stages.
