Glentoran is set to deliver a spooktacular matchday experience for young fans and their families this Halloween with a special family-friendly promotion at the Sports Direct Premiership clash with Portadown on Friday 31 October 2025 (Kick-off 7:45pm).
All children of primary school age and under who arrive in fancy dress will receive free entry to the match and a Halloween party bag, creating a frightfully fun atmosphere for the club’s youngest supporters under the lights at The BetMcLean Oval.
Leanne Dawson, Operations Manager at Glentoran, said: “Halloween is a brilliant night in our community and we want The BetMcLean Oval to be part of the celebrations. So many children will be out trick or treating in their costumes and this is a fantastic opportunity for families to make it a full night of fun by coming along to support the team. It’s an important game for the club and we’d love to see as many young supporters and their families as possible attending the game and helping to create a great atmosphere.”
Colin Jess, Chairman of Glentoran, said: “This initiative is about opening our doors and creating a warm, family friendly matchday experience. This is a great example of how we can make matchdays more accessible, especially on nights like Halloween when so many young people are out enjoying themselves.
Tickets are now available for the Halloween fixture against Portadown at The BetMcLean Oval on Friday 31 October 2025 (Kick-off: 7:45pm) and can be purchased online at www.glentoran.com/tickets/home-tickets.
