Another League Title for Glens 2004 Squad

Mon, 20/05/2019 - 21:41

Glentoran's magnificent 2004 age group were up to their old tricks again on Saturday as they secured yet another league championship with a 4-0 win over rivals Linfield.

Seven of them have even played in the U20s this season. This meant that they had to run with low numbers and rarely named the same team twice in a row - often playing games missing several regular players.

A season that started well as had us hoping to climb into that top 6 after a couple of very average years, but a late autumn slump saw us slip back again into a familiar position and one from which we failed to recover.
