Schools Cup Winners to visit the Oval
Glentoran will be delighted to welcome the first eleven from Grosvenor Grammar School to our home Danske Bank Premiership match against Carrick Rangers on Friday night.
The Grosvenor boys won the Northern Ireland Schools’ Cup after a 3-1 win over St Columbs, Londonderry at Seaview on St. Patrick’s Day.
Goals from Josh Kelly and Stuart Nelson in extra time brought the cup to East Belfast after Conor Kernoghan’s opener was cancelled out in normal time.
The boys and their coach, Mr. Darren Tompkins will parade the cup on the pitch immediately before kick off. We know Glentoran supporters will give the team a warm welcome to the Oval.
