Glentoran defender and Academy graduate Jonny Russell has added two more caps to his growing international record after starting both of Northern Ireland’s UEFA European Under 21 Championship qualifiers this month.
The 21-year-old lined up in the starting eleven for the 1–0 win over Latvia at The BetMcLean Oval on Thursday 13 November.
He retained his place for today’s trip to Greece, featuring from the start at the Levadia Municipal Stadium in a tough 4–0 defeat for the squad.
