Saturday's home match with Carrick Rangers was the first time our players had a look at and use of the club's new state of the art Performance Centre.
Located in the former McLean Suite in the main stand, the performance centre contains the widest possible range of fitness equipment to help the players maintain their fitness and to aid recovery from injury. It has been the intention of Head Coach Mick McDermott to install this centre since the investment in the club was confirmed in July. It contributes to the enhanced professionalism around the club and - alongside the Ron Manley Suite opened last year - provides a complete base for our players on matchdays and training nights.
After the final whistle on Saturday, there was a full turnout of Glentoran players utilising the Performance Centre for their post-match warm down!
