Glentoran Academy is delighted to announce a development partnership with TW Braga which will see the 2 clubs working closely together on schools programmes and holiday camps as well as player development strategies between our clubs. Glentoran Academy Development Manager Stephen Lowry and TW Academy Director Tim Wareing were happy to see the idea come to fruition and look forward to developing the club link over the coming months and years.
Stephen commented “Tim is an experienced A license coach who regularly visits many top clubs around Europe and we are always happy to work with someone like this who will bring lots of fresh ideas and projects to the table and that can only be good for our Academy. We hope that Tim and his players, coaches and parents at TW will also see the benefits of linking up with Glentoran".
First evidence of the partnership was seen on Monday night at the Oval when their young players were invited onto the pitch for a half-time display during the first team’s Danske Bank Premiership team game against Institute.
