Glentoran Women’s midfielder Nadene Caldwell has been named Footballer of the Year (sponsored by Lafayette Photography) at the prestigious Local Women Sport Awards, held last night at the Europa Hotel in Belfast.
The third annual ceremony, hosted by UTV Sport presenter and Local Women Sport columnist Ruth Gorman, celebrated outstanding achievements across both grassroots and elite female sport.
Olympic legend Lady Mary Peters was the evening’s chief guest at the event, which remains the only dedicated all-sports women’s awards ceremony across the UK and Ireland.
Everyone at Glentoran FC congratulates Nadene on this richly deserved recognition – an ambassador for the Club, her country and local women’s football.
