The Lord Mayor of Belfast, Alderman Gavin Robinson, hosted a reception for the Chairman, Directors, Management Team and Players of Glentoran Football Club, accompanied by main club sponsor, Paul McLean, at Belfast City Hall on Thursday evening.
The Lord Mayor, accompanied by the First Minister and a number of East Belfast Councillors, congratulated Glentoran on their Marie Curie Irish Cup win and Glentoran Chairman, Terence Brannigan responded, thanking the Lord Mayor on behalf of the club.
Those present included East Belfast MLA, Sammy Douglas, Councillors Tom Haire, John Hussey, Mervyn Jones, John Kyle, Adam Newton and Alderman Jim Rodgers.
