Lisburn Rangers Ladies 3-4 Glentoran Women

Sat, 06/08/2022 - 00:30

The Glens survived an early scare and a late comeback from Lisburn Rangers tonight to extend their four year hold on the Electric Ireland Women's Challenge Cup 2022 in tonight's Round Two match in Lisburn this evening.

Euros star Nadene Caldwell equalised a fifth minute opener on the stroke of half time. Skipper Jess Foy put the Glens a.head after the break. Further goals from Caldwell and the recently returned Kerry Beattie appeared to make the game safe before Lisburn gave the travelling support an edgy last ten minutes with two quick goals
