Glentoran is proud to announce that Women’s First Team Manager Kim Turner has been shortlisted for Local Sporting Hero at the Eastside Awards 2025.
This recognition follows Kim’s outstanding achievement in leading Glentoran Women’s FC to the Sports Direct Women’s Premiership title earlier this month. Kim was also named the inaugural Manager of the Year at the NIFL Women’s Football Awards.
The Eastside Awards celebrate the individuals and organisations whose talent and dedication make East Belfast a great place to live and work. Kim is shortlisted alongside Darren Baine (DB Fitness), Jordan Evans (Boundary Brewery Running Club), Kirk Long (Burn More 24) and Blaine McMillan (Bloomfield Football Club).
Public voting is now open via Belfast Live and will close at 5.00pm on 18 November 2025, with the winner announced at the awards ceremony on Friday 30 January 2026 at Titanic Belfast.
