Glentoran Women striker Kascie Weir has been named the inaugural Women’s Young Player of the Year at the prestigious Ulster Footballer of the Year Awards, held last night at Audi Belfast.
The 18-year-old has enjoyed a standout year for both club and country, emerging as a key figure for Glentoran Women and continuing her impressive rise on the international stage. In her fourth senior appearance for Northern Ireland, Kascie scored the winning goal in a UEFA Nations League victory over Romania last month.
Everyone at Glentoran congratulates Kascie on this richly deserved honour and looks forward to her continued success in red, green and black.
