Jeff’s March for Men Visits The Oval

Thu, 05/09/2019 - 22:01

You may have already seen this posted over our social media and website in the last few months, Jeff’s March for Men.

Sky Sports presenter Jeff Stelling has embarked on another epic walking challenge for Prostate Cancer UK – spanning four countries in four days – and is calling on the help of the public to support him on his quest to help beat prostate cancer – a disease killing one man every 45 minutes in the UK.

After completing 25 walking marathons in 2016 and 2017, raising close to £800,000, Jeff is back for 2019 and with the help of some famous footballing faces aims to march through the £1m fundraising barrier as he is currently traveling from Glasgow to Belfast, Cardiff, and London from 5-8 September.

Jeff visited Glasgow today and will be in Belfast tomorrow (Friday) for the 2nd leg of the March for Prostate Cancer UK. The march will reach The Oval by around 4.45PM and we are calling on all Glentoran fans who are available to get your Glentoran colours on and come down to show Jeff a big Glentoran welcome.  Carl Frampton, Iain Dowie, and Colin Murray will all be participating in the march when it visits our historic ground in East Belfast

Jeff and the march will be leaving The Oval again by approximately 5.15PM to walk to the National Stadium, the last stop on the Belfast leg.
