Irish Cup Final Ticket Arrangements

Tue, 28/07/2020 - 01:54

Following this evening’s nailbiting semi-final win over Cliftonville, the club can now announce ticketing arrangements for Friday evening’s Sadler’s Peaky Blinder Irish Cup Final v Ballymena United at the National Stadium at Windsor Park.

This is a unique situation due to necessary capacity restrictions so these arrangements have been made to facilitate the IFA requirement that all ticket purchases must be made by 12 noon on Wednesday 29 July.

The following information has been made available by the IFA:

  • A total of 250 general admission tickets will be made available to each club finalist for pre-allocation.
  • The 250 is inclusive of the tickets clubs will allocate to players families
  • Clubs are required to provide their ticket pre-allocation details to the Irish FA no later than midday on Wednesday 29 July.
  • All tickets will be located in either the Staffline Stand or the Onecom Stand which are situated behind goals and will be allocated in accordance with social distancing guidelines.
  • Should a finalist club require accessible tickets, there will be an option to request this on the ticket order form.
  • The Irish FA will allocate tickets in accordance with social distancing guidelines and e-tickets will be emailed directly to the purchaser email address before 12 noon on Friday 31 July.
  • Late ticket orders will not be accepted.

Due to the limited time available (less than 24 hours) the Board of Glentoran Football Club has decided that the following people will be allocated tickets:

  • Players’ families, as indicated in the IFA protocols
  • Club Vice Presidents
  • Club Life Members
  • Life Season Ticket holders
  • Key volunteers who give their time and energy to the club throughout the year without charge
  • None of the above tickets will be transferrable

All eligible personnel must indicate their intention to avail of their ticket as early as possible but at the latest by 10am Wednesday. Do so by emailing confirmation to secretary@glentoran.com and include your own email address on the text of your message

The rest of the 250 tickets will be placed in a raffle including all season ticket holders. Results of this raffle will be announced on Wednesday 29 July and all winners can collect their ticket from the Glentoran Superstore at times to be confirmed later this week.

All of these tickets will be issued free of charge by the club as the Board of Directors wish to thank those volunteers who have worked tirelessly to help the club through the recent public health emergency and to reward as many of our loyal season ticket holders as possible.

The following IFA conditions apply to all tickets

  •  It is strongly recommended that all ticket holders attending the Sadler’s Peaky Blinder Irish Cup final wear face masks.
  • All ticket holders must sit only in the seat stated on their ticket.
  •  All ticket holders must abide by the stadium and stand entrancing stated on their ticket.
  • Facilities within the stadium will be limited as per social distancing guidelines.
  • The purchase of food and beverage within the stadium will not be available.
  •  Social distancing guidelines must be adhered to.
