Marcus Kane has spoken to GlensTV to update and thanks all of those many people who have hiked and contributed to the #hikeforharrie appeal for the Royal Victoria Maternity Unit in honour of baby Harrie Kane.
The appeal set a target of raising £10,000 for the unit. This was reached on Friday and the amount now stands at £12,441 with 573 donations to Aimee Kane's page on Just Giving.
As well as from his team mates, former team mates, coaching staff, officials and supporters right across the Glentoran Family, Marcus and Aimee's appeal has been supported by players at (in alphabetical order) Ballymena United, Belfast Celtic, Carrick Rangers, Cliftonville, Coleraine, Crusaders, Detroit City, Dungannon Swifts, Glenavon, Larne, Linfield, Shamrock Rovers and Shankill Juniors (apologies if we've left anyone out) plus a number of referees and officials, former playing opponents from down the years, supporters of other clubs and individuals and families from across society.
