Glentoran will host a competitive Glentoran XI v Glentoran XI match at the BetMcLean Oval this Saturday (kick-off: 1pm) as part of our continued preparations for the 2025/26 season.
The fixture replaces the previously scheduled friendly against Cliftonville, which was cancelled by our opponents. With no suitable replacement available at short notice, the club has opted to stage an internal match, providing players with a valuable opportunity to build match fitness and stake their claim for a starting place ahead of the new campaign.
There will be no gate charge, but we are encouraging supporters to make a charitable donation at the turnstiles, with all proceeds going to Air Ambulance Northern Ireland.
The Bar and Milk Bar will both be open on the day.
This is a great chance for supporters to see the squad in action while supporting three outstanding local causes.
