Glentoran Football Club is pleased to confirm Box-It as the Back of Shirt and Sleeve Partner of Glentoran Women.
The agreement will see the East Belfast company’s logo feature prominently on the back and sleeve of Glentoran Women’s playing shirts.
Box-It has supported Glentoran since 2017, establishing one of the Club’s longest-standing and most valued commercial relationships.
The company’s latest support for Glentoran Women forms part of its wider agreement as the Club’s Official Packaging Partner until the end of the 2026/27 season.
Box-It also remains a committed supporter of Glentoran’s Inclusion teams, with its logo displayed on the front of their playing shirts.
With more than three decades of experience in bespoke corrugated and luxury packaging, Box-It has developed into one of East Belfast’s leading manufacturing businesses.
The company is led by former Glentoran player Darren Lockhart, who made more than 240 appearances and scored over 50 goals during a successful spell at The BetMcLean Oval.
The agreement further strengthens Glentoran Women’s growing portfolio of commercial partners and will support continued investment in the team and the Club’s long-term ambitions for the women’s game.
Ross Strathearn, Chief Commercial Officer at Glentoran Football Club, said: “Box-It has been a valued partner of Glentoran since 2017, and we are delighted to confirm the company as the Back of Shirt and Sleeve Partner of Glentoran Women.
“Darren understands the Club and its place within the community. Box-It’s support now reaches across our men’s, women’s and Inclusion teams, which demonstrates the strength of the relationship we have built together.
“This agreement provides direct support for Glentoran Women and helps us continue improving the environment around the players and staff.
“We are grateful to Darren and everyone at Box-It for their continued backing and proud to have the company’s name on the Glentoran Women shirts.”
Darren Lockhart, Director of Box-It, said: “Glentoran has been a major part of my life, so it means a great deal to continue supporting the Club through Box-It.
“Our partnership began in 2017 and has grown steadily since then. Extending that support to Glentoran Women was something we were very keen to do, particularly when we saw the plans for the team and where the Club wants to take it.
“We are also especially pleased to continue backing the Inclusion teams. They represent the very best of Glentoran and show how football can bring people together.
“Seeing the Box-It name on the shirts is a source of real pride for everyone involved in the business, and we look forward to continuing the partnership.”
