Glentoran Women 3-1 Crusaders Strikers

Sun, 23/10/2022 - 00:04

Goals from Northern Ireland Euros stars Joely Andrews and Nadene Caldwell gave holders Glentoran a third successive County Antrim Cup in this Final clash with Crusaders at the Blanchflower Stadium tonight – a repeat of last year’s outcome between the same two sides.

Andrews’ opener on 40 minutes gave the Glens a half time lead, before her midfield partner Dino extended the lead shortly after the break. Joely made the game safe with a few minutes to go before Caitlyn Hamilton scored a late consolation for the Crues.

Full report to follow.
