Glentoran trio represent Northern Ireland in World Cup Qualifier

Glentoran Women were represented on the international stage on Tuesday night as Nadene Caldwell, Mia Moore and Aimee Kerr were included in the Northern Ireland squad for their opening FIFA Women’s World Cup qualifier away to Switzerland.

Caldwell and Moore were introduced from the bench during the second half in Lausanne, while Kerr was named among the substitutes as Northern Ireland faced a strong Swiss side.

Despite a resilient performance, Northern Ireland were defeated 2–0, with Riola Xhemaili opening the scoring before Svenja Fölmli added a late second for the hosts.
