Glentoran to host Rosario YFC in support of Players Against Dementia

Tue 21 Jul 2026, 17:00

Glentoran will welcome Rosario YFC to the BetMcLean Oval for a special pre-season friendly in support of Players Against Dementia on Saturday 25th July (Kick-off: 1.30pm).

With free admission for all supporters, the match forms part of Declan Devine’s side’s preparations for the start of the 2026/27 Sports Direct Premiership season following the Club’s UEFA Conference League qualifying campaign.

The Glens will take on a Rosario side managed by former Glentoran forward Chris Morgan, with the fixture providing another valuable opportunity for the squad ahead of the opening weekend of the domestic season.

While admission is free, all supporters are asked to claim a ticket online in advance via the Club website. Supporters are also encouraged to support Players Against Dementia, with a bucket collection taking place at the front gate before kick-off.

Players Against Dementia is dedicated to supporting former footballers and their families affected by dementia and other neurodegenerative conditions. The charity provides practical and financial support, funds research into the long-term impact of head injuries in football and campaigns for improved care for those living with dementia.

Every donation will help Players Against Dementia continue its vital work supporting members of the football community across Northern Ireland. We thank supporters in advance for their generosity and look forward to welcoming the Amber Army to the BetMcLean Oval.
