As the first team is playing away to Institute on the Saturday nearest to Remembrance Sunday, Glentoran Football Club will host an Act of Remembrance at the Thomas Pearson M.M. memorial at the Oval to remember the fallen and to commemorate Sunday’s 101st Anniversary of the Armistice that ended World War One.
The service will be conducted by Rev. Drew Gibson, standing in on this occasion for Club Chaplain Rev. David Thompson who cannot be present due to a prior commitment.
All Glentoran supporters and local residents are cordially invited to join the service to pay their own respects to the wartime fallen.

10.30am, Saturday 9th November 2019.
