Glentoran Football Club is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of lifelong supporter Owen Gregg.
A proud Glens man, Owen’s love for the club began in childhood, attending matches at the BetMcLean Oval with his father, brothers and close family friends. That tradition continued with his own daughter Callie, with whom he travelled home and away, even during the most challenging moments of his illness.
Owen was a respected figure across the wider football community. A talented player in his own right, he represented Star United, Ballymena United and Wakehurst, forming lifelong friendships throughout the Irish League and grassroots football.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to his wife Dawn, daughters Callie and Cara, and the entire Gregg family at this incredibly difficult time.
