Glentoran Football Club is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of lifelong supporter and former Director, Andrew Nabney.
As a young boy, Andrew attended The BetMcLean Oval regularly with his father Andy, sparking a lifelong love for the Club. That passion would later see him give back in many ways, serving on the Improvements Committee and as a member of the Board of Directors.
A qualified electrician by trade, Andrew also played a hands-on role in maintaining The BetMcLean Oval, generously giving his time and expertise to support the Club.
The thoughts of everyone at Glentoran Football Club are with Andrew’s beloved wife Hilary and the wider family circle, both at home and in England, at this difficult time.
Andrew was laid to rest on Monday 22 December 2025.
