Glentoran Football Club is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of former Academy player Callum McVeigh, who sadly passed away on Christmas Eve at the age of 23.
Callum was a fine example of a Glentoran Academy player and proudly represented our 2000, 2001 and 2002 age-group squads during his time at the Academy.
Everyone at Glentoran Football Club extends its heartfelt condolences to Marcus, Lisa and Ethan, with Ethan also having been a valued member of the Glentoran Academy.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Callum’s family, friends and all who knew him at this incredibly difficult time.
