As Tuesday night’s Premiership fixture against Larne is a rearrangement of the original match scheduled for 27 September 2025, the 1923 Committee will be offering the original, Glentoran Gazette produced for that fixture, preserving a snapshot of the Club at that point in the season.
This edition captures Glentoran at a significant moment during the 2025 26 campaign. The 1923 Committee pays tribute following the passing of their esteemed President, Harry Clarke.
It also outlined the important behind the scenes work being undertaken as the Club progressed to the next stage of Tier Three of the Northern Ireland Football Fund, while also reflecting how developments at The Oval at that time were made possible through the continued support of Gazette readers.
On the football side, Head Coach Declan Devine reflects on the character shown by his squad during a demanding period of the season, with particular praise for Liam Burt and Jordan Stewart, Beth Stafford’s cover star, and recognition of the vital role played by Glentoran supporters in a memorable away victory in the North West.
Elsewhere, the edition documents another successful outing for the Glentoran Legends, explores some of the most coveted shirts in collectors’ circles and offers further evidence of Glentoran’s enduring reputation at home and abroad.
It also features coverage of Glentoran Women as they led the push for the league championship, analysis of Larne’s title challenge at that stage of the campaign, match photography from Thomas Sewell and Pacemaker Press, news from Around The Oval and the full matchday statistics.
