Glentoran FC Homeless Appeal

Thu, 14/12/2017 - 23:24

With a reduction of home fixtures during November and December and our last home match being postponed, we have arranged a number of collection points for supporters still wishing to donate to Glentoran's 2017 Homeless Appeal.

We are appealing for food items suitable for food hampers; tea bags, coffee, rice, pasta, pot noodles and pasta sauces.

Also needed are male and female gift sets, particularly male ones. Also selection boxes.

Collection Points:

Day to Day Newsagent (formally Dawsons) 52 Belmont Road, BT4 2AN (a big thank you to Darren Finlay).

Beep Beeps Ice Cream Parlour 254 Newtownards Road.

Glentoran Superstore - collections can be left off during normal opening hours and the Superstore will also be open on Friday morning (15th Dec) from 9:30am - 11am.

Thank you to everyone who has donated so far.  We have passed our half way mark just need the final push.

As a club we are making a difference and touching the lives of those who are not as fortunate as ourselves so please be as generous as possible.

Thanks to Calum Birney and Elliott Morris for helping out tonight at the Oval and also to the players who have helped out at Haven Outreach in High Street (beside HMV).

Last week Marcus Kane, Jonny Addis and Curtis Allen were involved and tonight it was Dwayne Nelson, John McGuigan and James Ferrin.
