Glentoran Colts have booked their place in the Harry Cavan Youth Cup Final after a spirited 1-0 victory over Larne U18s in the semi-final at Blanchflower Stadium.
Captain Ciaran Duffy proved to be the match-winner, delivering the decisive goal on a torrid night in Belfast, with heavy wind and relentless rain making conditions far from ideal. But nothing could derail the Wee Glens’ ambitions, as they battled through the elements to secure a place in the showpiece final.
With the other semi-final between Portadown and Linfield postponed, we now await confirmation of our Youth Cup Final opponents.
