Glentoran's 100% record in pre season was preserved tonight with a 6-1 win over our neighbours East Belfast at the Oval.
The first half was scoreless but once Mick McDermott team switched to an unfamiliar formation with three at the back, the floodgates opened with goals from Stevie Gordon, Andrew Mitchell (another 2, bringing his close season total to 6 in 4 games), Rory Donnelly (his third in pre season), Dale Gorman and a first Glentoran goal from Gael Bigirimana>
In another match where most of the available squad had game time only three players - Elliott Morris, Joe Crowe and Man of the Match James McCarthy - played the entire 90 minutes.

Next home game is at the Oval on Friday when we host fellow Danske Bank Premiership side, Warrenpoint Town at 7.45pm.
