Glentoran Women booked their place in the knockout stages of the Women’s All-Island Cup with a hard-fought 2-2 draw away to Treaty United on Saturday afternoon.
Kim Turner’s side made the long trip to Limerick knowing a point would be enough to top Group D and they got the job done in testing conditions at Jackman Park.
The hosts struck first through Isabella Flocchini on 28 minutes, but the Glens responded almost instantly as Mia Moore levelled just three minutes later.
Demi Vance then coolly converted from the penalty spot to edge the Glens in front, only for Treaty’s Madelyn Robbins to equalise in first-half stoppage time.
Despite both sides pushing for a winner after the break, the scoreline remained unchanged and the result ensured Glentoran progressed as group winners.
The quarter-final draw, made after the final whistle, handed the Glens a home tie against Bohemians. The winner will meet either Shelbourne or Treaty United in the semi-finals.
