The club has agreed to Dundela’s request to take Casey Smyth on loan until the end of this season.
Casey is a Northern Ireland U18 under national. He is under professional contract until the end of 2024/25 season and the manager has agreed that it would be beneficial for the player to get regular game time in the PlayrFit Championship before returning to fight for his place at Glentoran next season.

Glentoran Majority shareholder was at the Bet McLean Oval on Saturday, celebrating his birthday with his family at our 6-0 win over Coleraine. While here, Ali spoke exclusively to GlensTV.
An excellent performance from Glentoran at the Bet Mclean Oval this afternoon comfortably ensured all three points for the home side. A birthday treat for our majority shareholder Ali Pour who was in the stand with his family.

Fifth plays sixth at the Bet McLean Oval as we face each other for the third time this season in the Sports Direct Premiership.
Sean Murray has departed for Cork City on loan for the rest of this season.
A recurring injury has restricted Sean to just 48 apppearances for Glentoran since signing from Dundalk in the January 2022 transfer window, scoring two goals.
We wish Sean all the very best for his loan period.
Glentoran Women’s preparations for the 2024 season were ramped up this weekend with the signings of Sofie Keenan and Aimee Neal. Both girls are currently regular members of the Northern Ireland U19 squad.
Sofie (17) is a left back who joins us from Linfield. She joined the Blues in 2021 and where she was a regular first team starter last season. She is from Warrenpoint.
